The Brissogne  school took part in the Phénoform action with two primary school classes: the 4th and 5th for a total of 21 students. The phenological observation site of Brissogne is located along the central valley of the Dora Baltea on north expositions at about 640 m above sea level. The presence of the sun during the spring and autumn is very limited by its northeast exposition, so the microclimate in this location is rather cool and wet, when compared to other areas of the region. The species observed are birch, ash and hazel.

"Phenoalp rised children’s interest, bringing them closer to a particular aspect of the natural sciences in an alternative way compared to traditional data from textbooks. The children were able to learn from living experience in direct contact with nature.  It was also an incentive to use the computer in the classroom and enable the children to share their knowledge in this field.” Rossana and Mavi - the teachers.

School in the woods! "Throughout the duration of Phénoform actions, we took a large number of photographs and cataloged them to illustrate all phases of our important work of phenological recording. The result of this collection is visible in the photographic video made entirely by us, with the help of our teachers Rossana and Mavi, as an in-depth practical activity for the use of the computer. We hope that you enjoy our work, as much as we enjoyed making it! Enjoy the show!” Classes 4 and 5 of Brissogne Primary School - 2010-2011
