ePHENO represents the continuation of the Interreg project PhenoALP. The objectives of ePHENO include:
1) Promote the build-up of a network of researchers cooperating on the subject of phenology;
2) Promote the transfer of best practices to the local administrations and the personnel of the protected areas;
3) Strengthen the phenology monitoring network through the development of the existing networks of sensors;
4) Develop new instrumentation to support and promote field phenology observation, and improve the quality of the existing observations;
5) Develop common strategies to promote dissemination and awareness on the effect of climate change to local population.
